Installation
Scout requires a dedicated computer in order to run the server. There are multiple ways to get started depending on your needs.
Server Installation
There are two primary ways to setup the Scout server:
- Docker (Recommended): The easiest and most reliable way to run Scout.
- From Source: For users who want to build Scout themselves.
Mobile Client Setup
To monitor your cameras on the go, setup the mobile clients:

After installation, you will need to Configure Scout to work with your cameras and network.
